I called this firm, left a message and was called back immediately. It was the owner and he was very personable. We discussed options for my inquiry on legal advice. Even though I am unable to use this firm for my type of issue, he took the time to go over all my options. I would definitely recommend this firm for your lawyer needs.

FAQ
If you're unsure whether bankruptcy is the right path, we’re here to help. Simply fill out our Free Online Evaluation Form, and we’ll review your situation to help you make an informed decision. Should I pay off my favorite credit card before I file to try and keep it?
Not recommended. Credit card companies often detect bankruptcy filings and may:
•Cancel your account
•Reduce your credit limit
•Rarely, leave it unchanged
•Paying off the card could waste money better used for essentials.
Can I pick and choose which debts I file bankruptcy on?
No. You must include all debts. Omitting creditors can result in denial of discharge and may be considered fraudulent.
Can I sign over my expensive car to a family member before I file bankruptcy?
No. You may sell it for fair market value, but transferring it for less or giving it away is considered a fraudulent transfer.
No. You’ll attend a Meeting of Creditors (Trustee Meeting), not a court hearing. The Trustee:
•Verifies eligibility
•Reviews assets
•Checks for rule violations (e.g., repaying family or transferring assets)
Will the Trustee search my home during bankruptcy?
No. Trustees do not inspect homes. You must list all assets under oath. Most filers do not lose assets, especially in Chapter 13, which offers more protection.
We specialize in:
•Chapter 7: Debt discharge
•Chapter 13: Repayment plans
Will bankruptcy stop creditor harassment?
Yes. Filing triggers an automatic stay, halting most collection efforts including calls, lawsuits, and wage garnishments.
Can I keep my house or car if I file for bankruptcy?
Often, yes. Bankruptcy exemptions may protect your home and vehicle. Chapter 13 is especially helpful for catching up on payments.
How long does the bankruptcy process take?
•Chapter 7: About 3–6 months
•Chapter 13: 3–5 years repayment plan
How much does it cost to file for bankruptcy?
Costs vary. We offer transparent pricing and flexible payment plans to make legal help accessible.
You can rebuild credit fairly quickly:
•Use secured credit cards or loans backed by savings
•Make timely payments on reaffirmed or new car/mortgage loans
•Stay current on student loans
Tip: A secured credit card from a bank or credit union is a great starting point.
Yes, within reason. Modest trips are fine. Extravagant expenses may raise concerns. Be prudent and avoid luxury spending.
